बस यूं ही तो नहीं
तेरा होना हमेशा एक अलग एहसास दिलाता है
तेरा होना हमेशा मुझमें एक खुशी लेकर आता है
सोचता हूँ कि बिन तेरे मैं जी पाऊँगा या नहीं
लेकिन हाँ, ये रिश्ता कुछ खास है, बस यूं ही तो नहीं।
जब देखा था तुझे पहली दफ़ा, कुछ तो हुआ था
शायद मेरी मन्नतों को खुदा ने उसी वक्त कुबूल किया था
जब बात की तुझसे तो मेरी खुशी का ठिकाना था ही नहीं
और जन्मा ये रिश्ता जो कुछ खास है, बस यूं ही तो नहीं।
शब्दों से ऐसा जादू किया तुमने कि मैं दिल खो चुका था
सोचने लगा कि तुमसे मिले बिना मैं जी कैसे रहा था
ख़ुदा ने जो भेजी धारा पर, परी तुम हो वही
ये रिश्ता हमारा कुछ खास है, बस यूं ही तो नहीं।
याद है मुझे वो शाम जब हम पहली बार थे मिले
बंजर सी एक ज़मीन पर हजारों फूल थे खिले
देखते ही तुम्हें मेरे दिल ने कहा कि हाँ तुम हो वही
ये रिश्ता हमारा कुछ खास है, बस यूं ही तो नहीं।
अब जो कैद किया है इश्क़ में, छोडना मत तुम
क्योकि अब दिल जो गाता है हमेशा तुम ही हो वो तरन्नुम
अब इस जीवन कि तो कल्पना भी बिन तुम्हारे है नहीं
ये रिश्ता हमारा कुछ खास है, बस यूं ही तो नहीं।
